Worship Related Programs The congregation provides many opportunities for those who wish to learn, grow in faith, and serve the needs of others. We invite and encourage everyone to participate in one or more of these programs: Music: Choir, Music Team, Special music, instrumental or voice, solo or group. Planning for Sunday Worship is handled by the Music and Worship Committee. Altar Guild: The Altar Guild maintains the chancel area, prepares and maintains all altar linens and communion ware. Worship Assistants: Worship Assistants help the Pastor with the Sunday Worship service. They read scripture lessons, help lead worship, and assist with Holy Communion. Acolytes: Acolytes are children trained to assist the Pastor during the Worship service by lighting the candles and assisting with communion and baptism. Ushers and Greeters: Ushers and Greeters greet visitors and members prior to the Worship service, hand-out worship bulletins, assist with communion, take-up offering, and dismissal.
